Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain mobile SDKs, implementing Rust-to-mobile bindings for enhanced developer experiences
• Advance the encrypted messaging protocol, optimizing for multi-device sync and scalability
• Collaborate with team members to design systems, balancing security, scalability, and efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience as a staff-level software engineer
• Expertise in mobile development with Kotlin, Swift, React Native, or C++, delivering production-ready SDKs or apps
• Solid experience with Rust or a strong interest in learning Rust
• Experience building communication protocols, SDKs, or developer-facing APIs focusing on performance and security
• Prior involvement in open source SDK projects and public communications
