Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to lead and shape the technical direction of their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop complex backend and frontend components using Python/Django and React
• Lead the implementation of robust, testable, and scalable systems while advocating for technical excellence
• Design and maintain comprehensive CI/CD pipelines to optimize deployment processes and ensure high availability

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer with significant leadership experience
• Strong proficiency in Python and extensive experience with React and modern JavaScript frameworks
• In-depth knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with cloud infrastructures, particularly AWS, and containerization technologies like Docker
• Solid understanding of web security best practices and experience with automated testing frameworks
