Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Storage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, write, and deliver software to enhance the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of storage products
• Analyze and improve the codebase of storage systems and implement complex code modifications
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate storage capabilities and mentor other engineers

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in building internet-scale software, preferably in machine learning storage infrastructure
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Golang, Python, C++, or Java
• Experience with distributed storage systems and contributing to open-source projects
• Prior experience operating large-scale critical infrastructure systems with a focus on automation
• Experience in a role that involved being on call is a plus
