Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Database Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build core database infrastructure to ensure scalability and reliability
• Act as a subject matter expert on MySQL and database administration
• Develop and maintain tooling for database operations and self-service for developers

Required Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent education and experience
• 3+ years of experience using monitoring tools to diagnose performance issues
• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining databases at scale, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Proficiency in programming languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python
• Experience in Linux environments
