Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, DevProd (Observability).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle including design, implementation, and deployment
• Design and build multi-component, distributed systems while ensuring technical excellence
• Mentor team members and participate in design reviews to contribute to system reliability

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to develop scalable and resilient distributed systems
• Experience with large scale observability and data streaming/processing pipelines
• Expert in one or more high-level programming languages, preferably Go
• Expert-level skills in Kubernetes and SQL query development
• Hands-on experience with cloud providers, preferably AWS or GCP
