Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Risk Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and evolution of risk decisioning platforms for credit eligibility and fraud prevention
• Own and operate high-scale, 24/7 APIs and distributed systems for real-time risk decisions
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on system architecture and engineering best practices

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience with complex, production-grade distributed systems
• Strong background in risk engineering, including credit risk and fraud detection
• Experience as a technical lead or engineering manager with cross-team influence
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java and knowledge of JVM performance
• Proficiency with Spring, Gradle, and experience designing service-oriented architectures
