Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to drive the design and implementation of mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement core services, systems, and APIs focusing on scalability, security, and maintainability
• Serve as a technical leader, providing guidance on system design, coding best practices, and performance optimization
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers while collaborating cross-functionally to deliver high-quality solutions

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of eight (8) years of software engineering experience with large-scale systems
• Deep proficiency in one or more backend or full stack languages (e.g., Java, Go, Python, TypeScript)
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, API designs, databases (SQL and NoSQL), and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and observability practices
