Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join their Agentic Platform team, focusing on building infrastructure for AI-powered features.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build core platform primitives and safety infrastructure for AI systems
• Lead the development of evaluation infrastructure for systematic quality measurement of LLM outputs
• Collaborate with product teams to onboard them to the platform and provide technical support

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, particularly in platform infrastructure or distributed systems
• Production experience with LLM/AI systems and familiarity with providers like OpenAI and Anthropic
• Strong expertise in TypeScript and experience designing user-friendly APIs
• Understanding of safety and compliance in AI systems, including PII handling and audit logging
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
