Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer I to join their Commercial & Industrial Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement core platform features addressing multiple constraints and use cases
• Drive the transition to a microservices-based architecture for improved scalability and resilience
• Lead technical initiatives, focusing on data modeling, contract definition, and API development

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in a staff-level role
• Strong full-stack development experience, including backend, frontend, and relational database modeling
• Proficiency in Java (preferably Java 11+) and familiarity with modern SPA frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular)
• Experience with web services, RESTful APIs, and contract-driven development
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development practices
