Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer specializing in Identity and Access Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and implementation of IAM services, including authentication and authorization systems
• Serve as the technical expert for identity protocols, ensuring robust implementation of SSO, SAML, SCIM, and OAuth/OIDC
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and enhance user experience

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience focused on distributed services
• Hands-on experience with identity protocols: SSO, SAML, OAuth 2.0/OIDC, and SCIM
• Experience with inter-service authentication mechanisms and authorization schemes (RBAC, ABAC)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Familiarity with modern programming languages and cloud platforms is preferred
