Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to lead technical direction and develop software solutions for consumer lending.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams in automating loan approval processes and orchestrating financial transactions
• Build customer-facing software products using various technologies while ensuring high code quality through testing
• Drive architectural direction, set technical standards, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Product Managers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 3 years of experience as a software developer, including 2 years with server-side concepts and micro-services
• Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, front-end frameworks (React or Angular), and PostgreSQL
• Experience with AWS or cloud infrastructure, Docker, and testing frameworks (Mocha, Chai, Sinon)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins and GitHub Actions
