Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Replication Foundations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of core components of Temporal's OSS replication stack
• Design and evolve replication protocols for high availability and cross-cluster replication
• Drive cross-team alignment to ensure OSS foundations support current and future cloud products

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in building production systems, particularly in distributed systems
• Strong experience with replication, consistency, fault tolerance, and failure recovery
• Proven ability to design and implement correctness-critical systems
• Hands-on experience debugging complex production issues
• Proficiency in writing production-quality concurrent code, preferably in Go
