Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Onboard Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain the vehicle operating system, ensuring reliability and performance for safety-critical autonomy
• Drive the architecture and implementation of the onboard portion of Deploy Manager for efficient software delivery to vehicles
• Automate processes for assembling self-driving vehicles and updating their software, while identifying opportunities for performance improvement

Required Qualifications

• Strong C++ development experience, with some Python experience preferred
• Expert knowledge of software engineering and algorithm design principles
• Significant experience in developing high-performance software systems for safety-critical applications
• Expert understanding of Linux and building Linux distributions via Yocto
• Domain experience in autonomous driving or robotics is highly desired
