Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to design, build, and operate deployment infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and evolve deployment platforms that ship code to production
• Write, review, and maintain code primarily in Go and Ruby, with exposure to Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure
• Drive reliability improvements and provide technical leadership through mentorship and code reviews

Required Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related technical discipline
• Experience maintaining and delivering production software coding in languages such as C, C++, Java, Go, Ruby, or Python
• 5+ years of experience with backend systems, infrastructure, or platform engineering
• Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
• Experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud infrastructure is preferred
