Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join the Copilot API team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and ship high-quality technical solutions that scale across multiple services
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews to support team growth and quality standards
• Own and advocate for the health and quality of the systems, including participation in on-call rotations and incident response

Required Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related discipline with proven experience in production software coding
• Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python
• Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience
• Experience building and operating distributed systems in production
• Strong understanding of system behavior, reliability, performance, and cost at scale
