Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Data Platform - LATAM (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Own the architecture for MLS and property data, including streaming and batch pipelines, microservices, and APIs
• Design and implement scalable data processing and backend services using Python or Java
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mentor engineers and shape the data platform roadmap

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on production systems
• Significant experience with data-intensive or distributed systems at scale
• Strong programming skills in Python or Java, with experience in building microservices and APIs
• Deep experience with Spark or Flink for large-scale data processing and orchestration tools like Airflow
• Experience building or integrating AI agents into production workflows
