Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Assets to address emerging customer needs and enhance backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and evolve backend systems, platform services, and APIs using Python
• Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to integrate AI/ML capabilities into backend infrastructure
• Lead complex technical initiatives and mentor engineers in backend architecture and engineering best practices

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of software engineering experience, particularly in backend engineering and distributed systems
• Strong technical foundation in software design and development across multiple programming languages
• Experience with designing and operating reliable distributed systems and data-intensive services
• Demonstrated technical leadership in cross-functional initiatives and mentoring of other engineers
