Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to own and evolve the core platform that powers their AI employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive platform architecture decisions and ensure scalability and maintainability
• Review code and design documents for scalability, reliability, security, and operability
• Mentor engineers and establish platform best practices while owning the core backend performance

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in building and operating production backend systems at scale
• Deep expertise in Python (preferably Django) and relational databases (PostgreSQL)
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred)
• Strong background in distributed systems and production experience with async task systems
• Ability to work autonomously and drive technical initiatives without close supervision
