Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to build high-performance payment network components.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and delivery of high-performance React/Next.js applications
• Define frontend standards and manage a reusable component library
• Establish testing strategies and mentor engineers while managing incidents and tech-debt reduction

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience building production UIs with React/Next.js and expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Deep understanding of web performance, accessibility, and frontend security
• Proficient in modern tooling and CI/CD processes for web development
• Experience with REST, WebSockets, and building Progressive Web Apps (PWAs)
