Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Video Streaming.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-based live and recorded video capabilities, including ingestion, encoding, packaging, and delivery
• Integrate and access third-party cameras to enhance video consumption
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and contribute to technical planning and architecture discussions

Required Qualifications

• Experience with video/streaming technologies such as WebRTC, HLS, RTSP, and FFmpeg
• Proficiency in Go and Typescript (Node) web services
• Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Prometheus, and Grafana
• Experience designing and implementing APIs
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
