Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer Data Integrations Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and build a Python-based integration platform using FastAPI and other technologies to normalize data from global partners
• Design and orchestrate data pipelines while maintaining the existing Java Integration Service across 80+ live integrations
• Own cloud infrastructure as code using Terraform for AWS and drive schema evolution strategies and observability across the platform

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience building production backend systems
• Deep experience in Java (Spring ecosystem) with proficiency in Python
• Strong background in data ingestion, schema evolution, and high-volume data processing
• Production experience with AWS services such as S3, EKS, and IAM
• Experience in driving architecture decisions and writing design documentation
