Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer / Tech Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive technical direction across the Observability team, aligning product goals with system design and engineering execution
• Design, build, and maintain backend systems for SaaS and on-premise products
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and design sessions, ensuring good outcomes within their domains

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment
• Proven ability to decompose large projects into concrete plans with clear milestones
• Demonstrated success as a tech lead, owning technical design for complex systems
• Proficiency in Go and experience with Kubernetes in public clouds and on-prem infrastructure
• Experience building observability and telemetry systems at scale
