Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to serve as a Technical Leader for the Planning and Recruiting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve the backend ecosystem, focusing on service boundaries, data modeling, and API design
• Establish engineering standards and best practices across the stack, ensuring high-quality backend and frontend integrations
• Mentor engineers on backend architecture and system design while fostering collaboration between backend and frontend teams

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in building and scaling distributed systems
• Deep expertise in backend development using Java/Kotlin or similar technologies
• Experience with CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and operating services in production
• Understanding of the clinical trial ecosystem and its operational challenges
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality work reliably and on time
