Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Engineer to build and evolve systems for fraud detection and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement fraud detection and risk decisioning systems
• Create internal tools for the Trust & Safety operations team to efficiently investigate and resolve cases
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify risks and prioritize solutions in the product roadmap

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience in fraud, trust & safety, or similar domains
• Experience building fraud detection or risk decisioning systems
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals and experience with distributed architecture
• Ability to drive technical initiatives and build consensus across teams
• Good judgment in prioritizing tasks and breaking down complex problems
