Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to define technical strategy across multiple teams and tackle complex problems in a distributed contact center platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead performance and scalability initiatives, identifying bottlenecks in communication pipelines and data layers
  • Own high-impact technical problems from definition to validation, driving architectural direction and engineering best practices
  • Serve as a technical leader through mentoring, design reviews, and incident leadership while partnering with product and engineering leadership
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of professional software engineering experience with large-scale production systems
  • Demonstrated experience in improving performance, reliability, and scalability in distributed systems
  • Strong programming background, preferably with Go (Golang) and/or Python
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL technologies, including schema design and performance tuning
  • Hands-on experience with AI agents and modern deployment environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure
