Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Code Search.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and ship high-quality technical solutions across multiple services
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship while ensuring adherence to quality standards
• Own and advocate for the health and quality of systems, including participation in on-call rotations

Required Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in maintaining and delivering production software in languages such as C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python
• Experience with distributed systems, search at scale, or reliability engineering
• Ability to work autonomously and set technical direction
• Experience with AI/ML-powered features is preferred
