Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Staff Software Engineer will work full-time to enhance the query execution engine of a distributed open-source database, focusing on high-performance data processing and collaboration across a globally distributed team.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the 12-month roadmap for Query Execution and deliver on long-term goals
• Write well-tested, production-ready C++ code and coordinate initiative-level strategy
• Mentor team members and collaborate with stakeholders on large initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in query engine development or database internals
• Experience with production-level code and robust design structure
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with large code bases in C++ or another systems programming language
• Proven technical leadership and ability to define component roadmaps
