Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Staff Software Engineer, a full-time remote position responsible for driving technical strategy, leading the development of a scalable lending ecosystem, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build customer-centric financial products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and development of customer-facing lending applications using various technologies
• Define technical vision and best practices for the engineering team while ensuring performance, security, and scalability
• Oversee code deployment and collaborate with Quality Engineers to improve testing coverage

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field
• 3 years of software development experience, including building highly distributed microservices
• Experience with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and server-side technologies like Node.js and TypeScript
• 2 years of experience with AWS or similar cloud-based infrastructure and leading large-scale project architecture and deployment
• Familiarity with client-side technologies such as React Native and Angular
