Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the AI Engineering team, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will architect and implement agentic frameworks, build intelligent agents for investigative tasks, and extend LLM infrastructure, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement a robust agentic framework for tool use, context retrieval, and planning
• Build intelligent, modular agents that automate investigative tasks and enhance analyst decision-making
• Evaluate performance metrics and iterate on agent behaviors based on user feedback and system telemetry

Required qualifications

• Strong engineering background with deep experience in backend or systems work, preferably in Python
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, agents, and tooling frameworks such as LangChain and vector databases
• Comfort with agentic pipelines and optimizing information flow into AI systems
• Thoughtful approach to system design, focusing on safety, scalability, and explainability
• Previous experience with knowledge graphs or AI safety is a plus
