Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the mission of enhancing aging care, the remote Staff Software Engineer will build and operate production systems, design relational data models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve digital experiences for families seeking care.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core services that facilitate family care discovery and support Care Professionals
• Design and implement scalable relational data models and APIs while ensuring high performance and quality
• Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and operations teams to solve complex problems and improve systems

Required qualifications

• Strong backend engineering experience with a proven track record in building production systems
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and service-oriented architectures
• Proficiency in Python or transferable backend experience with a willingness to learn Python
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React, Typescript, and Tailwind
• Experience with API design and distributed systems
