Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic team, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will build foundational systems for an AI-native CRM, focusing on data pipelines, integration frameworks, and developer tooling, with a preference for candidates in Seattle and consideration for exceptional remote applicants.

Key responsibilities

• Build core platform systems including data pipelines, integration frameworks, and API infrastructure
• Design scalable data models and storage strategies for complex CRM workflows
• Establish observability, monitoring, and performance standards as the platform scales

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience building distributed systems and platform infrastructure
• Deep expertise with Postgres, event streaming (Kafka), and queue systems (BullMQ or similar)
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js, with familiarity in React/Next.js
• Experience building developer-facing surfaces such as public APIs or SDKs
• Startup experience with a focus on building 0-to-1 products or scaling through hypergrowth
