Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and development of large-scale AI systems, the remote Staff Software Engineer will focus on creating document processing pipelines and agentic workflows to enhance Payment Integrity and Audit solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of document processing pipelines for handling extensive healthcare data
• Design and implement workflows to validate healthcare claims, ensuring accuracy and integrity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered systems that automate complex workflows

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in building agentic systems or AI-driven workflows
• Strong programming skills in Java and Python, with Scala experience being a plus
• Proven ability to design and scale large-scale, distributed systems and pipelines
• Experience in productionizing AI/ML techniques, focusing on reliability and observability
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
