Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Building and maintaining products within GoGuardian's Safety product suite, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor other developers while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features and enhancements
• Write production-grade code and implement best practices for software development
• Monitor performance and reliability of services while participating in on-call support

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a software engineer working on SaaS applications or customer-facing products
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, JavaScript, React, and MySQL
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker for software deployment
• Direct involvement in shipping at least one production application or product
• Knowledge of monitoring, performance optimization, and technical documentation
