Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the evolution of enterprise experiences for identity and authorization, the full-time remote Staff Software Engineer will design, develop, and support high-quality technical solutions while providing technical leadership and mentorship to team members.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and ship scalable technical solutions across multiple services while ensuring code maintainability
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership, conducting code reviews and supporting teams in producing high-quality, extensible code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop technical solutions, including writing architecture briefs and defining success metrics

Required qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related technical discipline with proven experience in production software coding in multiple programming languages
• 2+ years of experience in technical leadership roles such as tech lead or team lead
• Demonstrated experience with large-scale system architecture and design, particularly in cloud-based environments
• Experience utilizing AI or agentic workflows for implementation and enhancing impact
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices
