Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Staff Software Engineer to work remotely in the U.S. or Canada, who will drive complex engineering initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor fellow engineers while developing a new product platform focused on personalized educational resources.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive complex, high-impact engineering initiatives across various problem spaces including personalized discovery and payments
• Partner closely with Product, Design, Data, and Engineering leadership to align on roadmap priorities and execution strategy
• Demonstrate AI-native development practices and mentor engineers to influence technical direction across teams

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Proficiency in full-stack development: TypeScript, React, Node.js, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL
• Proven track record in AI-native development and leading teams
• Demonstrated senior technical leadership and architectural decision-making experience
• Experience in EdTech or building products for learners and educators
