Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer for a full-time remote position, who will provide technical leadership, design scalable systems, and mentor engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the Order Management System and Consumer Experience platform.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide technical direction and guidance to engineering teams, ensuring alignment with business goals
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, reliable, and secure systems
• Mentor engineers at various levels, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development

Required qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Staff Engineer or in a similar level engineering role
• Expertise in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems or complex applications
• Strong proficiency in Elixir or other functional programming languages
• Solid understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and system architecture
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineers
