Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

As a key technical leader, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will drive the development of a multi-tenant, cloud-native compute platform, focusing on workload orchestration, API design, and operational excellence in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive the technical charter for the Compute Platform, including orchestration and security architecture
• Design and implement platform APIs and Kubernetes operators using Go to support workload requirements
• Lead technical design reviews and mentor engineers, ensuring high availability and performance of the infrastructure

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience delivering scalable software solutions
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, including controller development and multi-cluster architectures
• Strong proficiency in Go with experience in production-grade distributed systems
• Experience with multi-tenant platform architectures and security isolation patterns
• Familiarity with multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud-provider integrations
