Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and operating traffic infrastructure, the remote Staff Software Engineer will build and manage systems that enhance service connectivity and security while leading complex multi-team projects in a cloud networking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and operate traffic infrastructure for service-to-service communication
• Lead multi-team projects to improve service discovery, routing, and security
• Ensure the reliability of critical traffic infrastructure through design, on-call response, and post-incident learning

Required qualifications

• Experience shipping and operating mission-critical production services
• Proven leadership in complex projects across multiple teams with technical presentation skills
• Deep, hands-on experience in Kotlin or another JVM language
• Experience with service mesh technologies in production environments
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure management using Infrastructure as Code tools
