Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and development of core platform features, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will build scalable backend services using Python in a remote environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance contract lifecycle management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of core platform features using Python and an API-first approach
• Build scalable, reliable backend services that integrate with a modern cloud-based architecture
• Independently lead proof-of-concept projects and tackle complex architectural challenges

Required qualifications

• At least 8 years of professional experience as a software engineer
• Strong experience building backend services and APIs using Python in a product-focused environment
• Proficiency in using relevant AI tools in the SDLC (e.g., Cursor, Codex, Claude Code)
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and cloud-native best practices
• Self-motivated and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership over the systems built
