Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Providing technical leadership across teams, the full-time remote Staff Software Engineer will drive architectural strategy, ensure engineering excellence, and lead high-impact technical initiatives for cloud-based applications.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the architectural vision to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability across systems and services
• Lead major technical initiatives such as platform modernization and performance optimization while coordinating cross-team projects
• Mentor and coach senior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of engineering excellence and collaboration

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 10+ years of professional experience
• Proven experience as a Staff or Principal technical leader in complex engineering organizations
• Deep expertise in distributed systems architecture and modern cloud infrastructure
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices including CI/CD and operational reliability
• Experience leading large cross-functional technical initiatives across multiple engineering teams
