Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Hands-on and detail-driven, the full-time remote Staff Software Engineer in Consumer Engineering will lead complex technical initiatives across the full stack, mentor engineers, and ensure high-quality software delivery while collaborating on architecture decisions and production reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the execution of complex technical initiatives, setting engineering standards and pace for the team
• Drive technical design and architecture for features, ensuring maintainability, scalability, and performance
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing, while collaborating on roadmap planning with Product and Engineering teams

Required qualifications

• 8-10+ years of software engineering experience as a Full-stack web developer with a frontend bias
• Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Next.js
• Production experience at scale and familiarity with observability tools
• 1-2+ years of experience in a tech lead capacity
• Experience building REST APIs and utilizing cloud services for backend and data systems
