Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the evolution of the Stop Loss platform, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will serve as the technical lead, driving architecture, design, and delivery of scalable solutions while mentoring senior engineers and ensuring high-quality code development in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Guide architecture and technical direction for the Stop Loss platform, overseeing delivery across teams
• Develop high-quality, secure code while driving code reviews and establishing performance optimization standards
• Lead testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and production support to ensure system reliability and scalability

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field, along with 12-15 years of software engineering experience
• Proven technical leadership with strong system architecture skills and experience across multiple teams
• Experience managing vendor solutions and partnerships, including large consulting organizations
• Strong communication skills for effective mentoring and collaboration with engineers and senior leaders
• Adaptable and growth-oriented, with a willingness to learn new industries and modern practices
