Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer for a full-time remote position, this role focuses on owning the integration architecture and knowledge surface that powers Gladly's AI, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience and streamline integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Own the integration architecture, setting the technical direction for external systems connecting to Gladly's AI
• Build the connective tissue for AI, expanding its capabilities across the customer's tech stack
• Collaborate with product and design teams to solve product-level challenges and ensure a customer-centric approach

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience with a proven track record of shipping large-scale products
• Demonstrated Staff or Principal-level ownership with experience in making architectural decisions independently
• Hands-on experience using AI coding tools in daily development
• Strong background in TypeScript, React, Go, and PostgreSQL, or willingness to learn
• Ability to delve deep into root causes and solve complex technical issues
