Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a startup-minded Staff Software Engineer for a remote, full-time position on the New Ventures team, who will architect and build foundational technology while collaborating closely with a small team to develop functional prototypes and execute end-to-end solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Partner with engineers to build the technical foundation for a new venture from the ground up
• Utilize AI coding assistants and automation to enhance productivity and focus on core user problems
• Design flexible systems that allow for rapid iteration and adaptation based on user feedback

Required qualifications:

• Experience working in high-ambiguity environments with a focus on iterative development
• Proficiency in multiple areas of the tech stack, including frontend, backend, and infrastructure
• Demonstrated use of AI tools to enhance coding and development processes
• Strong understanding of user needs and ability to create intuitive interfaces
• History of building and shipping products quickly, ideally in early-stage startups or rapid experimentation teams
