Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Staff Software Engineer specializing in AI and backend development, the candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, create public REST APIs, and lead system design decisions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and maintain robust, high-performance backend services and public REST APIs
• Lead design decisions and mentor junior engineers while conducting code reviews and promoting best practices
• Analyze existing systems for improvements and implement automation for testing and deployment processes

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• 5-8 years of professional software engineering experience
• Proficiency in backend development with expertise in Java or C# and frameworks like SpringBoot
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
• Experience with AI-enabled development tools to enhance feature delivery and code quality
