Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer for a full-time remote position focused on AI and automation, responsible for owning the integration architecture, building connective pathways for AI, and solving product-level challenges while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the integration architecture and set the technical direction for external systems connecting to Gladly's AI
• Build the connective tissue for AI, expanding its capabilities across the customer's tech stack
• Mentor team members and collaborate with product and design to enhance customer experience

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience with a proven track record of shipping large-scale products
• Experience in making architectural decisions and driving projects to completion with minimal oversight
• Hands-on daily use of AI coding tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor) in development
• Deep experience or willingness to learn TypeScript, React, Go, and PostgreSQL
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis
