Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

As a key technical leader, the full-time Staff Software Engineer - Platform will design and build core platform services for scalable data analytics, collaborating remotely with cross-functional teams to enhance platform scalability, reliability, and extensibility.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, high-performance platform components and services
• Enhance platform scalability and reliability while optimizing data pipelines and evolving APIs
• Mentor and guide engineering teammates, ensuring high technical standards and effective collaboration

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience, particularly in backend and platform development
• Proficiency in JVM languages such as Java or Kotlin
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience designing and implementing scalable, reliable platform services for data-intensive applications
