Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to join the AI Knowledge team in a full-time remote position, where the engineer will own the integration architecture and enhance Gladly's AI capabilities through building connectors and solving product-level challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Own the integration architecture and set the technical direction for external system connections to Gladly's AI
• Build and expand the connective tissue for AI, ensuring it has the necessary context and pathways for action
• Collaborate with product and design teams to address customer experience and ship features rapidly with direct customer input

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience with a proven track record of shipping large-scale products
• Demonstrated experience in Staff or Principal-level ownership, with the ability to drive projects independently
• Hands-on experience using AI coding tools as part of the development process
• Strong background in TypeScript, React, Go, and PostgreSQL, or willingness to learn
• Ability to analyze root causes deeply and effectively communicate technical concepts
