Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a talented Staff Software Engineer to work remotely, who will design, develop, and maintain software applications, enhance products, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience while establishing best practices and coding standards
• Conduct code reviews, develop documentation, and build robust test suites, while owning the overall performance of products within a defined focus area
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to multiple teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and guiding product delivery teams on technical solutions

Required qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• Expert experience with Python and Distributed Systems Design or Event-Driven development
• Expertise in build & deployment automation (CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins/TeamCity)
• Experience with AWS, SQL, and Pub/Sub patterns (Kafka)
• 8+ years of relevant experience in software engineering
