Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the integration architecture, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will set the technical direction for external systems connecting to Gladly's AI, focusing on building and evolving the knowledge surface while collaborating with product and design teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the integration architecture and set the technical direction for external system connections to Gladly's AI
• Build the connective infrastructure for AI, expanding its capabilities across the customer's tech stack
• Mentor team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve product-level challenges

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience with a proven track record of shipping large-scale products
• Experience in making architectural decisions independently and driving projects to completion
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools and familiarity with TypeScript, React, Go, and PostgreSQL
• Ability to turn ambiguous ideas into shipped products, particularly in 0-to-1 settings
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis
